PRTC GOES TO RADIO 2 IN THE PARK

Our guests had a great time at the ‘Radio 2 in the Park’ festival – aka a one-day Glastonbury for Radio 2 devotees.

Rod Stewart was billed as the ‘headline act’ and certainly wooed the crowd with his energetic Celtic charm. All good stuff, featuring some of his lesser-played hits, such as The Killing Of Georgie, Gasoline Alley and In A Broken Dream – but alas no encore and no Maggie May!  How could he?

I am very biased but my star of the show was the wonderful and effervescent Kate Rusby, who shone in the sun – and would have attracted many new followers. I had to choose between  a hot lunch and Kate Rusby – and Kate won!

Many other acts put in great performances including Bryan Adams, Leona Lewis, Will Young and Bellowhead.

A big thank you to Andrew and Charles at A R Events for a great hospitality experience.

Here is a selection from our photo gallery.
